Agreements with the other Continental Associations are favoured. Since 1994 in particular, a very productive bilateral agreement binds the EOC to the 21 NOCs of the Arab Sports Confederation. (ASC)
In May 2000, a bilateral agreement was signed in Rio de Janeiro with the ANOCA – the Association of the National Olympic Committees of Africa.
Within the context of the European Youth Olympic, October 2007 the EOC signed bilateral agreements with the des 9 European sports federations whose sports are on the summer programme, and namely: athletics, basketball, cycling, gymnastics, handball, judo, swimming, table tennis, and volleyball. An agreement was also signed with the TV channel Eurosport.
Negotiations are in progress with the European sports federations for the sports on the winter programme.
The EOC also has special relations with the International Committee for the Mediterranean Games, the European Paralympic Committee and the European Fair Play Movement.
