Madis Mihkels is one of the five amazingly talented young athletes in the run for the 2019 Piotr Nurowski “Best European Young Athlete” Prize.

Born in Tartu, Estonia in 2003, Madis started cycling at the age of 9.

This nomination comes as the culmination of a fantastic season in which the 8-time Estonian National Junior Champion added 2 gold medals in road race and time trial at the EYOF Baku 2019 to his list of accomplishments.
